Photoshopped sketch inspired by a story idea my mate threw at me the other day.
More shall be revealed in time, I guess.

Digital Inking
I'm attempting to put together a comic at the moment, and I've been having a pop at the digital inking process. I've never been able to find a good balance with the Wacom that would give me the quality of line I'd like to achieve.
In my mind, I'd always seen the inking process on this project being done by hand, but before I gave up on the digital version, I thought I'd give it a try.
The results were a little frustrating.
When the computer wasn't crashing, I was able to get quite a nice line quality, but the biggest annoyance was a very simple one - I couldn't turn the screen like I can a sketchbook.
It seems mad that such a simple element could cloud my decision as to how to progress, and no doubt there are many people who could instruct me in the ways of digital art, but for the time being, I think the next step is to try it the old fashioned way....
In the meantime, here's today's progress.
Step 1: Pencils
Step 2: Ink
Step 3: Shading
Step 4: Colours
Step 5: Finishing touches
